hey, can you check my endings of the following sentences please =)

1) На улице было много людЕЙ, и я подумал, нет ли сегодня празникОМ. (I think ОМ is wrong because there is no 'c' as the question is written)
2) Нина ушла в школу, папа имама -на работу, а бабушка уехала к своей подруге за носледнИХ новост.... (I dont know whether the last word is femine or masculine or neuter... Im guessing it is plural though... it mean news right?)
3) Подойдите к столу со своИМ рабочИМ тетрадЕЙ. ( what does рабоч mean and is it рабоч or рабоча or what in the nominative?)

празДникА
за ПоследнИМИ новостЯМИ
со своЕЙ рабочЕЙ тетрадЬЮ (рабочая тетрадь is your working notebook, I mean, not the computer, but a paper one in which you do classwork and homework)
as тетрадь is feminine, it is своЯ and рабочАЯ

almost everything's wrong, sorry :(
1) На улице было много людЕЙ, и я подумал, нет ли сегодня празникА.

2) Нина ушла в школу, папа и мама - на работу, а бабушка уехала к своей подруге за последнИМИ новостЯМИ. new (новость) is femine. news (новости) is plural.

3) Подойдите к столу со своЕЙ рабочЕЙ тетрадЬЮ. If it's plural, Подойдите к столу со своИМИ рабочИМИ тетрадЯМИ. рабочий means... OMG, Russian is weird :) in this case it means rough notebook, school writing-book is even closer.

Because you have to conjugate adjectives with nouns' gender... In this case, since "тетрадь" is feminine, you have to use the feminine forms of adjectives - "своя", "рабочая". Then you need to remember about the case. The noun is in the instrumental case, thus you have to use adjectives in feminine gender and instrumental case, eg
подойти ко столу со своЕЙ рабочЕЙ тедрадьЮ

4. First off, it's "своИм". Then, "подруга" is feminine, hence it can only be "своя". Then you need to use the correct case as well - this time, it's the prepositional one.
a. Лена пришла домой со своЕЙ подругОЙ.
b. Лена пришла домой со своИМ другОМ.
c. Лена пришла домой со своЕЙ зарплатОЙ.
d. Лена пришла домой со своИМ табуретОМ.

Exactly. They are adjectives and act like adjectives. Once again, тетрадь and подруга are feminine, and the adjectives that describe them should agree with it in gender and case.
therefore, рабочЕЙ тетрадЬЮ, своЕЙ подругой
