Mix of 'приватизация' + 'грабёж'.
Second is almost similar.

These puns were special created for strengthening of negative emotional impact. "Прихватизация" = "приватизация" + "прихватить".

Really, morpheme is "zation", not "sation".

P.S. Next time before correcting someone consider stopping for a second and asking yourself: "Is it possible that I am missing something here?"

Privatization is the process of federal prorepty becoming private property, say, a factory or a real estate. In 90-s privatization in Russia was made with lots of corruption. So it was very much a robbery, and such an unhidden one, so they practically were grabbing, not robbing. To grab = хватать.

I'm really curious what "грабилизация" means.

The other funny word comes to my mind: спионерить. It has a meaning similar to прихватизация. :D

About the same thing (грабить=to rob) -- though this must be somebody's personal invention (unlike "прихватизация" which was widely used in pro-Commie press during Yeltsin era.)

I have been trying to avoid idioms.(идиом)
Nothing can be more difficult in translating.
I have discovered an idiom online dictionary that helps.

IMWHO: i would think that the first one might mean something like like "to make the stepping on the rake much easyer", or "to put lots of rakes in ones way", and it might be derived not from грабить (to rob, to loot) but from грабли (rake) instead. Actually , this is the first time i hear this word at all, i do not beleave, you should _ever_ use it, or you could be easyly misunderstood.

I don't think so at all. If it were derived from грабли, it would be граблизация, without an "и" in the middle.

it's just a game of words...

Here's what I would suggest:

grab-a-lization
prey-vatization
