Two questions:

1) Russian cartoons, which would be appropriate for beginning learners of russian. Where can I find them to download hopefully with subtitles (cheburashka is not an option)?

I'm especially looking for 38 ПОПУГАЕВ... but I haven't been able to find a version with subtitles. Does one exist?

2) Is there anywhere a recording online of the russian metro announcements? all of them? any of them? The real official ones would be nice.

Thank you in advance!

You can find anything on http://multiki.arjlover.net, but this server have restrictions for non-russian IPs.

I'm not really sure, that it is a good idea for beginning learners of russian.

Characters in cartoons speak usually as children or animals. Therefore often not really understandable.
