in english we sometimes use the word 'bit' to soften a statement, make it sound more informal or natural:

it was a bit of a mix-up

they had a bit of an argument

there's a bit of trouble with the car

is there an analogous expression in russian? something you use before such nouns to soften them or make the statement more light-hearted?

a very nebulous question, i realise. just curious.
