learn_russianhow would you say 'to crank' as in an old projector? I need to say, "a Mutoscope, which one/you must crank to see the film inside (through an opening)."
can the word киноаппарат describe any kind of film projector like a Mutoscope, Kinetograph*, etc? is the word зоотроп generally understood?
