I suppose my last entry I didn't word very well.

Really I want to know if it's acceptable to say something like "у меня биология в час" or would I need to say "у меня урок биологии в час" or am I completely wrong?

You can say "у меня биология в час".

you can say "у меня биология в час" if it's clear that you're talking about lessons.

Both variants are possible. The former one is more often used in colloquial Russian though.

Although both variants are correct, if you are going to describe the schedule as sequence of different time points you usualy say like "В час у меня биология, в два - физика, в три - математика " so you stress on the time points here.
If you are going to describe veriety of different subgects you are going to learn you say -"У меня биология в час, математика в два, физика в три"...
The difference is not very big, and you surely can mix this types in one sentence making it look more natural like: "В час у меня билогия, в два - физика, потом математика в три и химия в шесть"

You can say "у меня биология в час", and у "меня урок биологии в час", and "в час дня у меня занятия по биологии", and all this is 100 per cent correct. The 1st is quite colloquial, the 2nd less colloqiual, and the latter is quite formal.

"у меня биология в час" sounds great, even more natural than "у меня урок биологии в час" :)
