too.
My icq and e-mail are in profile (visible friends-only)
In return

I tried to answer your earlier post. I will be in Moscow starting in Sept and would be interested in talking.

I would love to remind that the working language here is English ;-)

Thank you. I'm currently in an intensive program which has helped a lot but it is much harder to speak correctly and quickly than to take grammar tests! I have a rather small vocabulary.

However, I appreciate your compliment.

That's OK, but, according to this community's rules, you are expected to provide an English translation as well. This is because many of the Russian learners here are in a very early stage of their study: many of them join while learning the alphabet. Which means a comment entirely in Russian cannot be useful for them.

P.S.

A good thing is to look at the community rules first, before you start contributing, just to avoid situations like that.

I have trouble with Russian grammar - such as verbs of motion (!!) - but then that will improve with time and practice. Grammar is a tool.

So - why are you interested in theatre? How long have you been studying? I'd like to know more about you. We can move the conversation to one of our journals, if you like.

I work in theatre, and just finished a graduate program which brought me to Moscow for three months. I loved the city, and plan to return for a year (and if there is work for me perhaps more) starting in September. I don't have an extensive Russian background. I has some "survival russian" before going to Moscow the first time, and in the past year since I returned I have studied on my own. Now I am about to complete an immersion course, so I should have the equivilant of 2 years of college Russian. I work in theatre, but not as an actress.

Who wants to be typical/average? :-) I'd like to be the one out of hundred who gets it right. Verbs of motion are my next focus when I study independently starting next week. And vocabulary building.
