Good day everyone! Some may remember me, some may not, but I was a member of this community a while back.
I left after I started attended a University for French Immersion.
And I am in fact currently at said University for a summer session.
I don't remember contributing much to this community, as I was only starting to learn Russian at the time.
Now to the point of rejoining this community.
I'm in dire straits right now, I desperately want to write a letter in Russian to someone, but all of my books and dictionaries are not here, and none of the computers here are able to type in Russian. But I can view Russian text.
Could someone, ANYONE, here translate the letter from english to Russian? I know it's a large task and as I'm not techniqully learning Russian now, I have no right to be here, or ask this, AND I know this is most likely against the rules, but please?
I'd offer money if I had the means to send it.
Also, said person is leaving tomorrow and I'd like to hand it to said person in person. Please?
Dearest (Name),
I write you this in Russian because I lack the courage to write it in english or french. Over the past
four weeks you've been a good friend to me, and above all else, patient. At first I lacked to words to
express my feelings, but later it was cowardice. Yet, there wasn't enough time for me to find what was
necessary, and for that I am sorry. Truly, I wish to have known you better and to have been a part of
your life, but that is now unlikely. I wish you the best of luck in the future, although I doubt you'll
need it. Should you ever need anything of me, you can find me at: (telephone). Day or night.

To the person who does this you have my eternal gratitude and I am in your debt.

Date: 2006-07-30 08:24 pm (UTC)It is, she was part of the 4 week program at Ste. Annes and I'm here for the 5 week program.
There are times I regret choosing french over Russian.
