There was a post a long while back about Russian programmers keeping a figurine on their desk for good luck (it had something to do with a pun). What kind of figurine was it? And do Russian programmers have any other amusing culture?

Really, I don't think, there is any special culture, other than "common russian " or "common programmer"

Many of my Dutch, English and other colleagues though do have various figurines glued at the perimeter of their monitors. I think it is a matter of personal choice. I never did anything like this myself yet.
