[identity profile] kart.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] learn_russian
[livejournal.com profile] ru_ya seems to be a place where people post pictures of labelled items. Everything the pictures tells you what it is... "я вещь". Grammar and spelling are horrible, but it's amusing.

Just be sure to read [livejournal.com profile] pishu_pravilno when you're done to make up for it.

actually, it is a slang way within internet community in Russia called - 'Padonki' - (lit. bastards).
they are writing wrong way, to give the word more expression. - and it is a good side of it.

the bad side is that some people overusing this slang and completely forget how to write the word in proper way. - mind wrong-way switcher.

Yes. It's kind of analogous to 133+-speak or other types of internet slang, as it serves to distinguish certain "elite" part of population among others. Its characteristic feature is the closest approach to strict phoneticity that is possible in informal conversation. For example "подонок" would be spelled "падонак".

BTW, "o'rly" is quite similar to that slang, both in use and in users. ^_^

It should be spelled "йазык падонкафф", BTW. ;)
