привет!

I have been looking desperately for the script of Peter and the Wolf (пётя и волк) by Prokofiev, in the original Russian. I managed to find a great recording, but my listening skills aren't that great, and it really helps me to follow along. So if anyone knows where a script would be, please let me know!

спасибо!

It is not "пётя", it is Петя. I am sorry I cannot help you with your request though but that way you would at least be able to search for it using search engines.

There's a simple rule: e turns secondary o (ё) under stress before hard (non-palatalized) consonants only.

Well, there is ё in Пётр. But not in Петя.

Well, you'll probably find it before you get here, but if not, I can burn a copy for you... I'd give you a link but I don't remember when I downloaded it.

If he wants the story with the preface, then, perhaps, you are right.
(the spelling is ok, only one thing is wrong: "Ну а это волк!")

But it is not Peter And Wolf. It is Vysotsky. I just forgot to say.
