Does anyone happen to know the words to the song that they sing in "Burnt By The Sun"? Or could anyone listen to it and tell me? I've seen the movie a million times but because the adorable little Nadya is always sort of singing it it's really mumbled and I can't figure out all the words... Thanks.

This one?

"утомлённое солнце" - the sun is tired

"утомлённЫЕ солнцЕМ" - they are tired of the sun

do you see the difference now? =)

Are you 100% sure that this song is not the song from the film?

they may use the song as a soundtrack, but this 'city romance' was written earlier by the famous composer and jazzman Alexander Tzfasman (Александр Цфасман) (http://www.yandex.ru/yandsearch?text=%F3%F2%EE%EC%EB%E5%ED%ED%EE%E5+%F1%EE%EB%ED%F6%E5+%F6%F4%E0%F1%EC%E0%ED&stype=www), i mean it wasn't written for the movie aspecially. the egg was the first =)))

it is "Утомленное солнце" (tired sun) as others pointed out
it's based on a song by Jerzy Petersburski called "Ta ostatnia niedziela" (last Sunday) also known as "Suicide Tango"

Actually, the correct translation is "Burnt by the sun". However, 'burnt' in this context doesn't necessarily imply the physical burn, it's moreso the mental anguish the characters in the movie endured during the course of the film.

Great movie, by the way.

The song is by Vadim Kozin, same title as the movie. If you can find an actual sound clip of the song, let me know, I'd really like to have it as well.

+1.
Tsfasman made the song big in Russia, but it wasn't him who originated it.
