learn_russianI'm a little clear on how names are modified in the genitive case.
male name ending in consonant = change the ending to "a"
male name ending in soft sound = change the ending to "я"
male name ending in a or я = ???
female name ending in a = change the endning to "ы"
female name ending in я = change the ending to "и"
female name ending in anything else = no change
example of where I am confused:
Сергей = ?
