I'm not sure how practical this is, but would some people be willing to photograph their written Russian so I can see some real examples? Or if you have a good link, pass it on. Thanks.

Thanks. I've made my own forms of the letters. I despise formal cursive writing. so I'm just looking for alternative ideas to my own.

That was nifty.

I'm still having trouble with making the final tail on щ in a consistent and effective way.

Also, will U suffice for и and a U with a slight tail (like a solitary cursive U) work for ц ?

Perhaps I can include pictures of my own alphabet and see how that is.

(Keep in mind that my style of writing isn't handwriting. I've never been good at it, and it always looks abysmal.)

Seeing all these examples of the handwritten cyrillic makes mine look like something a 3 year old drew on the wall with a crayon. ^^;

English handwitten lowercase "u" is exactly Russian handwritten и. And yes, a slight tail converts it to ц.

Я написала несколько фраз по-русски и отсканировала. Надеюсь, что это можно прочитать! Мне последние несколько лет не часто приходилось писать от руки, поэтому подчерк у меня стал даже хуже, чем был раньше. И это я еще старалась писать разборчиво. Если бы я не старалась, то похоже это было бы вот на такие каракули. Ну, или вот на такие.
