I'm listening to a song called "Юра едет в ЮАР," and I'm trying to find the lyrics for it. It's especially interesting, because as far as my online dictionary is concerned, ЮАР is South Africa, yet I hear Spanish in the song. Soooo, I'm a little slightly confused!

There is no lyrics fot this song in the Internet. Here (http://www.jabber.ru/chatlogs/sysadmins@conference.jabber.ru/2005/10/12.html) are some words.

Юра едет в ЮАР оревуар, там тоже дети, жара и простуда.
Юра едет в ЮАР, везет товар - гуманитарную помощь... фрукты и овощ.

("Оревуар" is french "au revoir", "good bye").

It's simply funny because of the sounds play: юра->юар

ЮАР is really South Africa, nothing else (Южно-Африканская Республика)

If you transliterate, it is even more funny. It sounds like "you're a idiot"

LOL

You need the lyrics? That's it:

Такого парня поищи-посвищи, никого нету (никого нету)
Кому охота быть Дон-Хихотом не за монету.

chorus:
Юра едет в ЮАР, оревуар, там тоже дети, жара и простуда.
Юра едет в ЮАР, везет товар - гуманитарную помощь... фрукты и овощи.

Поворот за поворотом, машина, а как же иначе? (а как же иначе?)
Кальян, сомбреро и бумбокс mp3, эй, мариаче (don't know this word, though i'm Russian... I guess it's the Spanish word that you've mentioned)

(chorus)

Объездил мир, помог, чем смог, и вернулся в родные пенаты (родные пенаты)
Сходил на выборы, и - на тебе - (на тебе!): стал депутатом

(chorus)

"на тебе" here means not "on you" :-) It's traditional expression, meaning surprise.

Sorry for my not so good English...
Бобры are cool but ther lyrics are not always simple, and include wordplaying and rarely-used expressions.
If you need help with this song, ask me a questions.

I have adition to "на тебе". if there's accent on "на", then it means surprise.
With accent on "бе", it means "on you".
