After reading Метель in class, our professor gave us a short poem by Pushkin. It deals with the usage of ты and вы, and thought it would be nice/sweet for beginners



Пустое вы сердечным ты
Она, обмолвясь, заменила
И все счастливые мечты
В душе влюблённой возбудила.
Пред ней задумчиво стою,
Свести очей с неё нет силы.
И говорю ей: "Как вы милы!"
И мыслю: "Как тебя люблю!"

Empty вы warm ты
She, having made a slip of the tongue, exchanged,
and all my happy dreams
aroused in my soul (which is) in love
Before her I stood pensively
And had not the strength to take my eyes off her.
And I tell her: "Как вы милы!"
And I think: "Как тебя люблю!"

Yeah... I had to leave some Russian in there so that it would make sense.
