I am new to this community and to the Russian language. I started to become really interested in languages halfway into grade 9, and Russian is probably the most interesting to me.
I have been trying to teach myself at home, and I mostly use the book Ultimate Russian. It is pretty good, especially for grammar. Unfortunately, I do not own the book so I have to keep checking it out of the library. I think I might just buy the book, not the tapes since that is really the expensive part ($20 // $75), and check the tapes out when I need them.
So, the point of this entry is really only to say, I am new.
