A couple of months ago I posted on here about getting a Russian audio CD program to help me learn more Russian now that i'm out of my classes. I decided on the Pimsleur 8-CD course since it seemed the most apt for my level. I also got a cute kid's book with audio CD called Teach Me Russian: A Musical Journey Through the Day. This is actually good for refreshing myself with the basics! I've started using the Pimsleur and I think it'll work well for me. I look forward to taking more classes in the future as well, but this will have to do for now. Coincidentally, in the post where I asked about audio CD programs, I also mentioned that I had found a place to get a free ipod. I signed up for it, and I actually got it in the mail a couple of days ago! I have since copied the audio CDs to MP3s and put them on the iPod... and now i'm listening to it in my car wherever I go. I think this is truly helpful since I can't deal with 8 CDs all together! I'm glad I can put it all on one little device and take that with me anywhere I go. I highly recommend this method. By the way, if you're interested in getting the free iPod, I don't want to put the link here to spam so visit my own LJ page and you can get the link there. Thanks to everyone for your help in choosing the CD program!
