Anyone know of a cool free software somewhere online that I can practice typing in Cyrillic? Something that guides you from the beginning step by step but continues on to more advanced level. It takes me a day to write a sentence...meh

Good question! I know the general location of each key, but I have to hit like 5 of them and backspace and try again till I get the right one lol.

I did three things:

1)Added the cyrillic keyboard to my computer's languages
2)Created a key that I taped on my desk that shows which latin key creates which cyrilic letter.
3)Did the same thing by writing the letters directly onto the keys.

Not to mention, instead of writing the letters on your keys (I'd hate to have my keys smudged with anything), they sell special stickers you could buy to paste them on to the keys. They're semi-transparent and, well, look for yourself. I remember seeing an ad for them at: www.masterrussian.com

Well, what I did is downloaded the Keyboard Layout Creator from Microsoft and made my own Cyrillic layout! D is д, p is п, etc. Although a few of them have weird matches since the Russian alphabet is larger than the English one (q is ю), it's much better than before, and I barely had to learn anything new!
