Thank you for your contribution. Please note that the working language of this community is English. As to the problem in question, there is a proverb: Quod licet Jovi non licet bovi. Which means that what Brodsky can afford the mere mortals probably cannot.

The fact is that I am referring to those cases where Brodsky uses this word form not in his poems, but in his lectures, and thus he appears not as Jupiter but as a usual person.
