(no subject)

Anyone want to try their hand at translating the following? It will appear on a flyer for NYPL that will be going up in the library and at a few establishments around the city, so please help me not to sound foolish. Thanks!

Join us at the Fort Washington Branch of the New York Public Library on the first Saturday of each month for a classic Soviet-era Russian film with English subtitles. Enjoy the old-fashioned ambience of the 8mm projector in our community room.

Sorry, it was my fault. I was sure I approved it at once (pressed a button, etc.), but I just discovered this was not enough, due to peculiarities of the LJ user interface.

Maybe something like that:

В первую субботу каждого месяца ждем вас в отделении Нью-Йоркской общественной библиотеки Форт Вашингтон на просмотрах классических российских фильмов советских времен. Фильмы демонстрируются с английскими субтитрами. Погрузитесь в атмосферу показов со старого доброго 8-миллиметрового проектора! Показы проходят в нашей комнате для заседаний (community room).

I'm not sure if one should translate "Fort Washington" and "community room" - and it's not a literal translation - just wanted it to sound nice and smooth in Russian.
